Make sure you get yourself along to the Music Network meeting this Thursday afternoon (4pm) at Millennium Point to discuss Brum Music Month.
I’ve emailed Mark Badger to let him know a bit about what’s happened so far (as far as I’m aware of it) and it would be great to get the wider Birmingham Music community involved by whatever means available.
Everyone is welcome at the Music Network meeting. Everyone. That includes you, even if you have previously had no connection with the music industry ever before. It’s an open door – and everyone who wants to do anything to support and grow Birmingham Music is enthusiastically welcomed.
I can’t make it, unfortunately, but it would be great if the lead up to Birmingham Music Month could inspire the most well-attended network meeting to date.
Have a great time – and keep the fire burning on Twitter.

Hi! I’m going to try and make it along to the meeting (as long as they don’t mind me coming in late due to work commitments), mainly because I think I have something to offer Brum Music Month!
A few friends and I have decided to start up a charity called ‘Feedback’ to help live acts in the West Midlands find gigs, pay deposits for venues etc etc, culminating in hopefully next year us hosting a festival to raise even more money for musicians. We’ve only just started, and coincidentally, our launch event is taking place on the 28th of June at the Actress and Bishop, just at the end of Brum Music Month!
I’ll post more details as and when I have them, but if people want to get involved, please get in contact us at feeebackbirmingham at hotmail dot co dot uk
